Jessie Tomanek
Miss Tomanek, born in Seoul, South Korea studied dance at the age of seven. She received
her BA in Dance Performance from The Hartt School at the University of
Hartford. Miss Tomanek has
worked with Peggy Lyman, Hilda Morlas, Milton Myers, Amy Marshall, Moses Peddleton, Scott Rink,
and Kurt Peterson. She has been a member of the Olga Dunn Dance Company, Yosakoi Dance Company,
Dance Visions Dance Company, Linda Diamond and Dancers, and Mariana Beckerman Dance Company.
Jessie Tomanek started choreographing at the age of sixteen with the Olga Dunn
Dance Company. Her work has been featured at the Mahaiwe Theater MA, the Paramount Theater NY, the Painted Bride Theater PA, Alvin Aliey Theater NY, and many more, In 2010 she was awarded
to be the first residency artist of Moving Beauty Lab in New York City.
