JT
Lotus Dance Company was founded in August 2009 by artistic director Jessie
Tomanek. Her company is known for the unconventional movement and fearless physicality
of modern dance. JT Lotus Dance Company has evolved into four members and has
created the unique flex technique. The
company has been featured in many dance festivals and performances.
For
the past year, JT Lotus Dance Company has pushed the boundaries and has
inspired audiences with its unique blend of music, dance and narrative styles.
Through a broad range of movement, the company has created dances that are
emotionally engaging.
Ms. Tomanek has always seen the dancers as the paint and the stage as the canvas.
Her mission is to help emerging choreographers/companies who are less then two year old to give them the proper skills they need to develop their company.
